Reach owners out in the field
Field agents bring car checks to malls and petrol pumps, meeting owners who might not otherwise visit a workshop.
Car health checks, explained in plain words
Turn your car’s recorded faults and available readings into a clear plan. A CarHandy field agent runs the check while you shop or fill up, and Little Bachu explains the findings, their urgency and your next steps.

“Your car recorded a misfire on cylinder 1, which can cause shaking or hesitation. A spark plug, ignition coil or fuel supply issue could be involved. Contact a service centre promptly to confirm the cause before replacing parts.”
Meet Little Bachu
Fault codes like P0301 mean nothing to most of us. Little Bachu turns what your car recorded into a report you can read in a couple of minutes, and take straight to your service centre.
How it works
Our field agent brings the equipment and does the technical part. You don’t need to know anything about cars, whether you’re the owner, a family member or the driver.
Find one at a participating mall or petrol pump. They’ll help you sign up in the app.
A small adapter goes into the diagnostic port under your dashboard and reads what your car has recorded.
The findings, their urgency, likely causes, suggested checks, and repair cost and time estimates.
Share the PDF with your preferred service centre, call a nearby centre, or book with a CarHandy partner centre in the app.
Ask about checks near you. Have your own Bluetooth OBD-II adapter? You can run the scan yourself with the app.
What the check looks at
Your car’s computers record certain faults and monitor operating readings. CarHandy brings the available information together and explains the findings by system, so you know what to discuss at the service centre.
Misfires, sensors, idling and how it’s running.
Catalytic converter, oxygen sensors and exhaust.
Fuel mixture and trims that quietly cost you mileage.
Wiring, charging and electronic control faults.
Available voltage readings that can flag a battery or charging concern.
Brakes, ABS and steering, where your car reports them.
Airbags, lights and comfort systems, where reported.
Engine temperature, speed, load and more, as the car runs.
What each car shares depends on its make, model and year. Your report says what was checked, and a scan doesn’t replace a service centre’s physical inspection.
When a check helps
Check for recorded faults before you travel, alongside your usual pre-trip checks.
Understand related fault codes and the next steps to discuss with a service centre.
Look for recorded clues to shaking, hesitation or poor mileage.
See what the car has recorded before you agree a price.
For field agents
Set up at busy places like malls and petrol pumps, and help drivers get their cars checked. You run the scan and guide the customer; the app looks after sign-ups, reports and what you’ve earned.
Ask us about locations, onboarding and commission terms.
A day on the job
Add them and their car in a minute. They finish signing up with a QR code.
Plug in the adapter, start the scan, and walk the customer through their report.
Today, this month and all time, with every payout recorded.
For manufacturers · proposed pilot
We’re proposing a pilot that turns field-agent car checks into service leads for your authorised network. Reach owners beyond the workshop, help them understand what their scan found, and give them a clear path to book with your service centres.
Field agents bring car checks to malls and petrol pumps, meeting owners who might not otherwise visit a workshop.
The owner comes in with a report of what the scan found, a concrete reason to book and a starting point for your service team.
When a scan flags an issue, CarHandy shows owners the authorised centres for their car’s make and lets them request a booking in the app.
About the price of a café coffee. The exact fee is shown in the app before you pay, and you only pay for a report once the scan has worked.
Usually a few minutes. The scan itself is quick, and the report is ready soon after.
Most modern petrol and diesel cars have the standard OBD-II diagnostic port the check uses. How much each car shares varies by make, model and year, and your report says what was covered.
No. It tells you what your car has recorded and what to ask about, so you walk into the workshop informed. A service centre confirms the cause, the repair work, the final price and time. A scan does not certify that the car is safe to drive.
Not at all. Download or share the report and take it to any service centre you trust. If you’d like, you can also call a nearby centre or book with a partner centre in the app.
We use it to prepare your report and to connect you with a service centre when you ask. Read our privacy policy for the details.
